For industry, emergency teams and private use- (please note- the Aqua mats are temporary avaiable only in small amounts) Until now, combating oil pollution on inland water and at sea was technically difficult, extremely expensive, not always non-polluting and, in cases of strong currents or high waves, only partially possible. The new eco.carbon® oil binder mat Aqua makes the absorption of oil on water significantly easier and more environmentally friendly. The oil binder mats are placed on the surface of the oil-polluted water, where they absorb the oil very rapidly. The floating mats can then be recovered easily. The special properties of the filling bind the oil firmly into the mat. No oil escapes from the mat during the recovery or handling of the oil-filled binder mat, and any further pollution of equipment or the shoreline is avoided. The eco.carbon® oil binder mat Aqua is available in various sizes. Our oil binder mats are designed to be used in large–scale as well as small–scale applications. The extended floating capability of the oil binder mat Aqua allows it to be used additionally for preventative purposes, for example in the tanking of ships.
