Heavy metals in waste water
In the circuit board industry in particular, highly acidic solutions and waste water containing heavy metals must be disposed of as hazardous waste at significant costs. eco.carbon GmbH has therefore developed a process for the biological cleaning of waste water polluted with heavy metals. This process allows the heavy metals (such as copper and nickel) contained in the waste water to be precipitated using a biocatalyst and recovered as a high-purity metal. The process amortizes quickly. The metal is extremely pure and can be remelted immediately.
More areas of application than you might think

  • acid treatment baths and process water (e. g. in the circuit board industry, galvano technology)
  • metal-polluted acid waste water and cleaners
Reduce costs and help the environment

  • reduction in use of chemicals
  • reduction in deposits from electroplating
  • easier and more convenient disposal
  • reduction in energy costs
  • reclamation of pure metals
